Just the other night, I was thinking how much I loved catching fireflies when I was younger, letting them crawl on my hands and then putting them in a jar to look at. I loved stepping out into my dark backyard and seeing the twinkling lights. I feel like I’ve never properly introduced my kids to this so when I saw that Powder Valley was hosting Fireflies: Summer Night Lights, I couldn’t have thought of a more special way to introduce them to fireflies!
Re-experience these childhood memories with your little ones as you learn more about this fascinating beetle. Then you’ll take a hike into a magical forest filled with twinkling lights.
