If you’re wanting to see it but wondering how your younger child might react, check out the B&B Wildwood’s sensory friendly showing on Saturday, June 20th at 9am! The show plays with mid-level lights and the sound turned down in the auditorium.

This is a great chance to brig your infant, toddlers or kids who might not usually like going to the movies to see Inside Out!

Mud Day at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center

June 7, 2015 by Melissa Leave a Comment

With all of the rain we have been getting, my kids have been begging to play in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig. i’m not too crazy about doing that at home which is why I was excited to see that Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center and the City of Sunset Hills were hosting a Mud Day!

Mud Day

Celebrate mud and getting dirty at this family community event. It will be a great learning experience as there will be information about soil and the plants and animals that live there, mud art, a mud kitchen, and piles of mud to play in.

Come prepared to get muddy, and bring a towel or a change of clothes for the car ride home. This event will be held rain or shine – won’t the kids love it if it’s raining?! Discover (or rediscover) the fun of mud!

Where: Sunset Hills Athletic Fields at 13555 West Watson Road.

When: Saturday, June 27, 2015, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

More Info: Call Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center at 314-301-1500 for more information. Reservations are not required.
