We are huge fans of Grant’s Farm and I’m so excited to share with you all that Grant’s Farm opens on April 16th! There’s so many exciting things happening on opening day in addition to new things being added!
To kick off Opening Day celebrations, the first guests of the season will be welcomed by St. Louis Cardinals mascot Fredbird and former Cardinals pitchers Brad Thompson and Danny Cox. Fredbird will greet guests and escort them to the trams to begin their ride through Deer Park into the heart of the farm. After touring Deer Park, visitors can make their way to the courtyard to enjoy live music and meet with a few animal shelters to learn about animal adoption.
“Opening Day at Grant’s Farm is a favorite tradition for families in St. Louis,” said Andy Elmore, general manager of Grant’s Farm for Anheuser-Busch. “We’re excited to open the gates for the 62nd time hosting guests for another great season. We love being a part of St. Louisan’s lives through the memories they create at Grant’s Farm.”
Many family favorites will return for the 2016 season including baby goat feedings, live animal shows, camel rides, parakeet feedings and the behind-the-scenes Budweiser Clydesdales tours. Guests can continue to participate in Private Expedition tours and once-daily Estate Walk Tours around the Busch family estate. As is tradition, guests 21 and older can enjoy complimentary samples of Anheuser-Busch beers.
New this season Grant’s Farm is offering a 2016 Grant’s Farm Membership package. Members can enjoy a season parking pass, five one day parking passes for friends, 50 goat feeding or carousel passes, unlimited paddleboat rides and 10 percent off at all gift shops, concession stands and tour tickets. “Anheuser-Busch has operated Grant’s Farm for more than six decades and we are proud to make this St. Louis tradition available for more than 500,000 visitors each year,” said Julia Mize, Vice President of Beer Category and Community, Anheuser-Busch, “From making family memories to interacting with animals to enjoying Anheuser-Busch beers, there’s something for everyone at Grant’s Farm, and we look forward to another great year.”
